Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training introduces participants to the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use concerns, and gives an overview of common treatments and resources.
Three MHFA courses are available:
Adult MHFA teaches adults (18 and older) how to support other adults.
Youth MHFA teaches adults (18 and older) how to support children and youth.
Teen MHFA teaches students in grades 10-12 how to support other teens.

To register for MHFA training, contact the MHFA Outreach Worker at your local mental health authority (LMHA) or local behavioral health authority (LBHA).
Public and private school employees may receive free MHFA training. Find the LMHA or LBHA that serves your school on this map.
CEUs are free and available for the following licenses: LMSW/LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCDC.
